Do the VISAA schools do enough to develop wrestlers and wrestling programs that are competitive against their public school counterparts?

And so does LCA. Truth is that usually the top 3 to 5 teams in the state every year can compete with anyone.

The next few years will answer the question of whether LCA does a good job of developing wrestlers. Their elementary and middle school teams are pretty thin. If you are basing your statement on the current team, most of them transferred into LCA as already developed wrestlers (i.e Atkinson, Podell, Brown?)

Let's look at the facts regarding LCA's lineup from last year:
106 - Leffew - started wrestling at LCA in elementary school 113 - Brown - new at LCA as a junior 120 - Atkinson - came to LCA as an 8th grader 126/132 - Meinke - started wrestling at LCA in elementary school 138 - Podell - new at LCA as a junior 145 - Christensen - started wrestling at LCA as a sophomore 152 - Miller - came to LCA as an 8th grader 160 - Lawton - started wrestling at LCA as a sophomore 170 - Good - started wrestling at LCA in elementary school 182 - Glaze - started wrestling at LCA as a freshman 195 - Papet - started wrestling at LCA as an 8th grader 220 - Russell - started wrestling at LCA in elementary school 285 - new wrestlers this year
